Copy Express Installs Graphic Whizard CreaseMaster Plus

Copy Express is located in the heart of Lexington, Ky and was established in 1980. Since 1999 the company is proud to be one of  Quick Print Magazine’s “Top 100 Printers”. This 24 employee operation provides both offset & digital printing to their customers all over the United States and Virgin Islands. President and owner Steve Daugherty observed that as their digital print volumes increased, they experienced issues with cracking, which is a common challenge with most digital printing. So, late last year Steve began searching for a solution to this problem. By consulting with Diana Griffith of Graphco, they arrived at three possible solutions that could be provided by an investment in equipment and analyzed the pros and cons of each system. Finally, Steve decided on the Graphic Whizard CreaseMaster Plus. According to Steve, ” the price/performance of the CreaseMaster Plus made it an easy choice”.  He also was impressed with the ability to crease and perf in one pass, which saves considerable time. Although his initial goal was to eliminate the cracking of digital print projects, now at Copy Express they are also running offset print work through the CreaeMaster Plus and realizing the same benefits.  Certainly a win:win for Copy Express profitablity and their broad base of continued customer satisfaction.
